Welcome to the ISH Primary School

The International School Hilversum ‘Alberdingk Thijm’ provides the opportunity for primary and secondary children to all learn within the same building. This creates a supportive, embracing, community environment that benefits everyone. The International School Hilversum is one of only two schools in the Netherlands that provides an accredited International Baccalaureate programme throughout the whole school, starting with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) for children from the ages of 4 to 10. We maintain a small Primary Department in order to give personal attention to every child’s development and learning needs. We provide a safe, caring and friendly environment in which all adults know the children well.
