The school was founded in 2002, as a result of the close co-operation between the International School ´Alberdink Thijm´ Hilversum, and a Dutch grammar school ´Het Baken´ Almere.
Our classes are taught in a stimulating academic environment and due to the small class sizes we are able to give the students more individual attention.
International School Almere is an IB World School for the Diploma Programme (DP) and a candidate school for the Middle Years Programme (MYP). These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that (this school) believes is important for our students. |
*Only schools authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) as IB World Schools can offer any of its three academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), or the Diploma Programme. Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.
